Blessing!

So, I was just in the grocery store buying cereal (Zach and I had just got out of the Monster Concert: memories, right?) and I ran into the English department chair, Karen Holt. We were just making a little bit of small talk when she randomly says, "Oh, did I tell you that I sent in your paperwork for a second year here at BYU-I?"

She hadn't told me that.

I am so excited! I have been a bit nervous about what life was going to throw and us since Zach still needs to finish his degree, and I didn't know what I was going to do in Rexburg after my contract was up (Karen actually mentioned that Zach's education was one of the reasons she thought I deserved the second year contract. How wonderful is that?). I realize, once again, that Heavenly Father is aware of my daily worries and He has a plan for me. I know that teaching is my passion, it's what I am meant to do, and I am so blessed to be here at this university with the people who helped shape me.

Anyway, this means that I have a job next year, and that I will go on to teach many a Lit. and Freshman Composition class. This also means that if young Trevor was so inclined to attend this fantastic university, I could mold his young mind in the classroom setting. Right, T-man? Right?

Just wanted to share.

A big "WAHOO!" TO quote an aquaintance--"Good things happen to good people." (Extra credit if you can guess the source.) Thanks so much for sharing your great news. You will have to share your monster concert experience. BTW--what kind of cereal did you buy?
Love ya!
