I never have good ideas for titles.

What an intense month September has proven to be! I guess it always is, the beginning of school, a lovely personal day, and the official ending of summer, but for some reason, it always catches me by surprise. Piano has been especially intense this year. I have hit the ground running, and yet it feels like i'm sludging through quicksand. I am trying desperately to be ready to have a recording out to my selected schools by Dec. 1. As of this point right now, the schools I will be applying to include, Indiana, USC, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, and ASU (Arizona). But depending on my level of preparedness, UCLA might have to go. they require the most on the CD, and i'm not sure I have time to have everything learned that they require. Time will tell. But anyways, Matt is working like Crazy right now. This week he will have 60 hours by friday. We get home at night in time to eat a quick dinner and head to bed. But we are happy. Although this is one of my most stressful semesters ever, I have found that I have been blessed with a sense of peace about everything. This is greatly appreciated, especially by my dear boyfriend. That kid really holds me together. Well, the backyard project is finally closing itself out. We have planted grass, (some of which has Really grown nicely) and we plan to put on the finishing touches this weekend. Unfortunately, the cables for my camera have gone missing, and my camera is extremely dead. otherwise I would post some lovely pictures. Hopefully we can find those soon. Lisa, your bathroom project looks lovely. matt is a little green with envy. He would LOVE to start tearing apart our bathroom, and I have put the kabosh on that idea for the time being. I have to say, the fixtures you picked out are pretty much the Exact one that I had picked out for if we ever did our bathroom. I Love the way they look! Suzi, I would really like a 9 layer cake. Anytime. Momma, I'm so glad you are coming to see me! I have been looking forward to it All month! Maja is doing well. She doesn't get as much attention as she would like, but we love her and do our best. Matt has built her doghouse into the underneath side of the deck, so you can't even tell its there. Its really genius. However, she might freeze this winter if she doesn't stop chewing up all the insulation. Not really sure how we're going to deal with that one this year. Well, its now 7:10AM, and I better get off to school. I'm usually there by now, and for the first time since school started, today i'm still in my PJs. What a great day. I have a lesson today though, so I better get it in gear. Hope you enjoyed this small update from the Indiana Chapter of the Soderquist Clan, and I hope to hear from you all again soon!
LOVES!!

Thanks for the update! It's 5:23 am and I've been at work since 3:00 am (catalog went live at 4) so this was a fun read amidst e-mails of item number issues. :)

It sounds like you two are extremely busy, but happy. The only sad part is that there are no Utah schools on your list. Sad. Iguess I'll have to cope though. Just don't stay away too long.

I'm noticing a theme to our posts today. They are all happening uncannily early (I'm nothing to you guys, but I can't sleep any longer, since my body is now used to waking up around 5:30).

My dear Taya Marie, I am so glad to hear from you and I wish you the very best luck with all your insanity. I've been feeling that hectic sensation myself (though probably not quite as intensely as you). I wish I was coming with Mumsical to visit you...but alas: I will be in California that weekend. :)

I also noticed the early hours. I read the post at 5:25 before I went for a rather chilly jog. I deferred comment until now, however, fearing that if I didn't get out the door right then, that 30 degree temp would get the best of me! How could I be so blessed to have such great children? I would admit to tearing up at the thought, but then T would just tell Brandon on me again, and I would get teased! :)

I think I have a solution to your dog being cold tell matt to let me know if he would like my brilliant idea (ok i found it on the internet) that i used to build a heater that was very cheap and works great.
