What is meant to serve as a spirited rallying cry, but comes off as a rather garbled bit of rubbish

Having received a thumbs up from the Mumsical in Chief, I have taken the liberty of starting a familial blog. New as I am to the world of blogging, I understand that it has many virtues: namely, the ability to update several people about my daily drivel with little inconvenience to myself...or those I wish to impose upon.

That being said, I propose that this blog, aptly named the Council of the Soderquist Clan (though I am perfectly willing to entertain other titles, but let's be honest, that one rocks pretty hard), be a way for our widespread branches of the clan to communicate across the span and to keep us all up to date on each others doings. I propose that we each take it in turn to post to the blog from our several exotic locales. I also propose that the Mumsical in Chief be named blog-master as we all know her to be the one with magical mumsical intuition and the one with her finger on the pulse of everything clan related. I bow to her prowess. Let's put it to a vote: all in favor of Mumsical as Master respond to this blog immediately!

As an aside I feel I should point out that our young Trevor does not seem to think that electronic communication is important enough to merit an email address of any form. His shocking lack of proper youthful pride in forays into the electronic world leave me flummoxed! Has he no shame? I ask that we all put insane amounts of peer pressure upon the young bloke until he caves. I could say the same for our dear padre, but I think he has immunity through article 9 of the Clan's constitution: he's hitched to the Mumsical in Chief.

As a second aside: call me if you are nervous about this new venture and have queries. I'm totally juiced about this blog idea of mine and want you all on board.
